Reaction to PSL 7 anthem: Who said what?

Three days before the start of the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League, the official song of the event has been released in association with 'Tuk Tak'. In this anthem, singers Atif Aslam and Aima Baig have awakened the magic of their voices.

Like the last few years, this year too, as soon as the PSL anthem came out, the cricket fans saw a mixed reaction. Some called the title song of the seventh edition of PSL the best, while others criticized it.

In the first hour after the song was released, more than 50,000 people liked it and around 10,000 people watched it on YouTube.

While the music of the song was appreciated by the people, the fans of Atif Aslam and Aima Baig joined hands in praising their favorite singers.

This is the first time in the history of PSL that Atif Aslam has sung the official song while Imam Baig has been a part of PSL anthem once before.

If we talk about the previous PSL songs, then the official songs of the first three editions were sung by singer Ali Zafar in which 'Ab Khel Ke Dakha', 'Ab Khel Jame Ja Ga', and 'Dil Se Jan Lagade' became very popular.

The fourth PSL anthem 'Khel Deewana Ka' was sung by Fawad Khan and composed by Shuja Haider. He was accompanied by Young Desi in this anthem. The official anthem of the fifth season of PSL 'Tiar Hai' was sung by folk singers Arif Lohar, Haroon Rashid, Ali Azmat and Asim Azhar while the sixth official anthem 'Grove Meera' was a joint effort of Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig and Young Stiners. ۔

There is a mixed reaction from the fans on the seventh official anthem of PSL. Actress Mansha Pasha says it is also possible that this year's anthem will be liked without comparing it with previous anthems.

According to well-known comedian and actor Shafaat Ali, the manner in which Aima Baig spoke is tantamount to setting fire.

According to director Gibran Siddiqui, “If you want to enjoy this anthem, you have to listen to it on good headphones. When it is played in the stadium, everyone will be excited.”

Sports journalist Abdul Ghaffar thinks that this anthem has a 'level', while commentator and former cricketer Sikandar Bakht thinks that this anthem needs to be heard 'loud'.

'PSL anthem only for Ali Zafar'

Like every year, this year too the PSL anthem is being praised and criticized. Someone called it worse than the previous anthem, while others started remembering Ali Zafar.

Former Test fast bowler Mohammad Asif wrote about the official anthem of PSL 7 that listening to it made him like the anthem of last season even better.

Sports journalist Najib Al Hasnain's views were not much different from those of Muhammad Asif.

Senior sports journalist Saleem Khaliq says he did not enjoy the anthem, perhaps listening to it continuously for a month.

Well known journalist Mahesh Ijaz also said that Aima Baig and Atif Aslam are good singers but PSL anthem is only for Ali Zafar.
